Did you know? As Mirabelle plum, bergamot has a protected geographical indication (PGI). This little sweet golden yellow, scented with natural bergamot essence, was born here in the nineteenth century. As for Nancy macaroon, its origin dates back to the eighteenth century. In terms of gastronomy, sweet Nancy trilogy “plum, bergamot, macaron” is accompanied by the famous rum baba and madeleine cake, St. Epvre cake, stews, pies, quiches, Lorraine meat delicatessen, other wild game and freshwater fish, served with a wine from the coasts of Toul AOC or Moselle.
